Hey, friends! We don’t know when earthquakes will happen but we need to know what to do during an earthquake. Here’s my advice:
When we’re inside the building, don’t jump out of the building. Stay away from windows and big furniture. Hide under a strong bed or table.
When the earthquake stops, leave the building quickly. Remember not to use the lift. When we’re outside the building, stay away from high buildings, street lights, power lines, bridges and trees. If we’re in the mountains, pay attention to falling rocks. If we’re on the beach, run away from the sea and go to higher ground.
The most important thing is to keep calm. Follow the rules we learnt and then we can be safe and help others.
